Excitement!

So the excitement of Christmas break finally caught up with the boys tonight. They just could NOT fall asleep. So they asked if they could talk QUIETLY on Slick's bed! I agreed. They did talk quietly. They were so quiet, in fact, I had to check on them. So this is what I found! AW! My neck is hurting for them!

What's for dinner?

Mommy: "What do you want for dinner tonight?"
Slick: "McDonalds!"
M: "What, you want McDonalds?"
S: "Yes, you're the GREATEST mommy, you let us get TOYS there!"
Hmmmmm, wonder what we'll have for dinner! My little kiss-up! How can I say "no" to that?
PS. Then he runs over, "mommy, I love you!"

"I am the Mayflower!"

Spike had a "Thanksgiving Program" at school on Friday. He was the Mayflower! We worked on his lines for a few weeks. He was GREAT! He and Daddy worked together to make his Mayflower! Turned out pretty good.

Thanksgiving Party Time

Spike's first Thanksgiving Party is tomorrow. So I asked him what he wanted to take. He said "cookies". So could I just throw some chocolate chip cookies in the oven and call it, "DONE!" Nope! Here's the start of the process (well, step 3, but I forgot to take pictures of the first 2.)
